Astana to hold IX session of Secretariat of Religious Leaders' Congress
ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM The Secretariat of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions Leaders will hold its regular IX session in Astana Independence Palace on December 2-3, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Senate.
Representatives of various religious confessions and spiritual organizations, prominent state, political and public figures, renowned scientists- theologians will gather for the sitting.
The participants will focus on the results of the III congress held in July in Astana. They will also discuss and approve propositions regarding the agenda of the IV Congress of Religious Leaders scheduled for 2012 and will also consider a number of organizations issues on preparation to the forum.
Chairman of the Senate Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will chair the session.
