Astana to allocate KZT 60 mln for struggle against smoking

ASTANA. May 31. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhaandagulova/ Astana will allocate KZT 60 mln in the nearest three years for struggle against smoking. Director of the national coalition "For Smoke-free Kazakhstan" Dzhamilya Sadykova has announced at a press conference.
By decision of the Astana Maslikhat there was adopted a target-oriented program "Astana - smoke-free city" with total budget to the amount of KZT 60 mln for 2011-2013. The program's main goals are to level down smoking through formation of negative attitude of the residents to smoking and creation of healthy image of Kazakhstan's capital.
