Astana-Tbilisi regular flight to be launched

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Air Astana airline will launch a new Astana-Tbilisi regular flight in 2015, according to the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Investments and Development.
The Georgian Embassy in Astana says that the citizens of those countries with which Georgia established a visa-free travel, namely EU, NATO and CIS countries, may stay there without a visa for up to 90 days. In case a citizen of Kazakhstan wishes to stay longer, he or she needs to get an emigration visa. Statistically, the number of tourists from Kazakhstan to Georgia grew by 45% in 2014, compared to 39% in 2013. Presently, Air Astana performs direct flights from Almaty to Tbilisi five times a week and from Aktau to Tbilisi - three times a week.
