Astana Summit to enable to shake up the organization to give it a new form of thinking - Kyrgyz President

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Maria Peshkova/ "We believe that security in the OSCE space including Central Asia must be common and indivisible", OSCE Kyrgyzstan President Roza Otunbayeva said at the OSCE Summit in Astana speaking about the reforming of the organization.

She noted the importance of early conflict prevention not just on paper, but on actual fact. "Focusing of efforts in post-conflict situations should be a focus of our Organization's attention", she noted.

According to Mrs. Otunbayeva it is necessary to pay more attention to the issues of border security and drug trafficking. "It is needed to have a systematic approach to address consequences of the emergence of extremist groups", she added.

The President of Kyrgyzstan expressed hope that the Astana Summit will enable the participating countries to shake up the organization to give it a new form of thinking.
