Astana state institutions and civil society organizations will congratulate 229 WWII veterans
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Government agencies and public organizations of Astana will congratulate 229 Great Patriotic War veterans, said the chairman of the Scientific Expert Group of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, doctor of historical sciences Vidadi Salakhov.
Government's meeting has adopted a national action plan for the organization and holding of the Year of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism, the 550th anniversary of the history of the Kazakh Khanate. The document is based on the President's address voiced on November 11, 2014 "Nurly Zhol - The path to the future". On behalf of the President Mayors of regions and cities visited veterans and handed them over flowers and holiday gifts.
