Astana-Semei high-speed passenger train to start on Aug 25
ASTANA. August 21. KAZINFORM - August 25 at 12:30 a.m. is starting its new route a high-speed passenger train number 63/64 from Astana, called "Astana-Semei", consisting of "Tulpar-Talgo" wagons, says the press-service of Passenger Transportation JSC.
The train consists of 27 cars, 22 of them are for carriage of passengers, including 2 Grand Class wagons (double suite), 2 cars of business class (double) and 18 cars - a tourist-class (four-seated economy class), and 3 technical, 1 dining car, and 1 car with a bar. In one of the cars of Grand class there are compartments for disabled people.
Frequency is once in four days. Time in a single direction is equal to 13 hours and 25 minutes. The stations on the route of a high-speed train are the following: Yereimentau, Yekibastuz-1, Aksu, and Degelen.
