Astana schoolboy creates solar-powered phone charger
An eighth-grade pupil of the Astana School-Gymnasium No. 49, Sultan Ibragim, has created a device capable of charging mobile phones using solar energy, Kazinform News Agency cites the city's akimat.
The main goal of the project is environmental protection and the rational use of energy resources. Sultan’s device converts solar energy into electricity, enabling mobile devices to be charged. The mechanism works by absorbing sunlight and transforming it into electrical energy through a special panel, which provides enough power to charge a phone. This invention is an important contribution to the development of environmentally safe technologies.
As reported earlier, a first-grade pupil of the Astana English School No. 18 has secured a gold medal in the StemCo International Olympiad.
