Astana Opera and San Carlo of Naples sign memo of coop
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Legendary Milan's theatre has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the management of "Astana Opera" and the leadership of Teatro alla Scala and Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli, the press service of the theater reports.
Director of the oldest Opera San Carlo Rosanna Purkia told about the exchange tours. Thus, next year the Neapolitan theatre company plans to perform ballet "Requiem" by Mozart directed by B.Eifman, and the troupe of "Astana Opera" will go on a return visit to the festival "Autumn Dance 2015" in the Teatro di San Carlo. The theatres also plan to make a co-production of "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Donizetti. The staging promises to be bright and involve international cast. Gianni Amelio will direct the performance. During the period of the first theater season "Astana Opera" signed 13 memos of cooperation with the leading theaters of the world.
