Astana Mayor invites investors to participate in USD 800 mln project

ASTANA. May 4. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "We invite the investors to take part in the project on construction of two power generating units worth USD 800 mln," Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov told today during "Astana Invest 2011" forum.
"The Astana energy security is of great importance for us. That's why we have started construction of the first phase of the new energy source, heat power plant 3. The second phase envisages construction of two power generating units to the amount of USD 800 mln. We invite the investors to participate in its implementation. We believe, it is a good investment platform that offers excellent opportunities," the Mayor added.
