Astana mayor congratulates young virtuoso on winning major Russian competition
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Ruslan Turuntayev has kept hold of his violin since he was 7, he inherited the love for this instrument from his father. The guy really enjoys playing. This is not just a hobby, but his lifetime project. That is why Ruslan won big at the international competition of young violinists in the Russian capital.
Mayor of Astana city Imangali Tasmagambetov congratulated the young musician on the victory at the 8th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Moscow, Kazinform has learnt from astana.kz. "Every success is earned through hard work. No one achieves such goals without investing efforts," mayor Tasmagambetov told Ruslan during the Tuesday meeting in Astana. The 15-year-old violinist said winning the first premium was hard, especially given the level of his opponents. However, he made every effort to make such a precious present to his city on its 16th birthday. "I remember the first time I heard my father playing his violin. I was only 4. But I understood at once that it was my destiny. Music brings light, happiness, kindness, mutual understanding and love". Currently, the violinist hones his skills at the central music school under the Moscow State Academy of Music in Russia. The young virtuoso wants to bring fame to his country in the future.
