"Sales turnover between our countries is relatively small, it totals only $350 million. It has made $155 million in the first half of 2014," Mr. Tasmagambetov said at the Kazakhstani-Latvian business forum in the Kazakh capital Wednesday. According to him, Kazakhstan imports timber, construction materials, fish products and pharmaceuticals from Latvia. "And I believe there are plenty of opportunities to expand our cooperation. We need to establish closer commercial ties," the Astana city mayor added.
