ASTANA. July 6. KAZINFORM People's Assembly of Kazakhstan congratulates the residents and guests of Kazakhstan's capital on the 15th anniversary of Astana.
A bold and ambitious initiative of the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev on transfer of the capital to Astana was a life-changing decision of historical importance, largely predetermined the success of Kazakhstan.
Astana is a man-made symbol of independence of Kazakhstan in the XXI century. The city came in the recent history of the world as a center of international dialogue and new successful ideas. Our capital is habitually associated with such concepts as the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, CICA, G-global, nuclear-free world, the policy of peace and harmony, the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan.
Words "Kazakhstan-Nazarbayev-Astana" are understood as benchmark of the success, development and harmony in the world community.
Over the 15 years Astana has established itself as the center of integration of culture and policy. The grand project of the Head of State became the standing point and uplift, unity and consolidation of the people of Kazakhstan.
Today, Kazakhstan, brilliantly demonstrating to the worldwide a unique "Kazakhstan's way", defined a new objective - to create a welfare society on the basis of a strong state, a developed economy and the possibilities of universal labor till 2050.
Being situated in the center of Eurasia, Astana is a bridge between Europe and Asia. Traditions of the East and the West are intervented and mutually intersected in the city. There is a genuine dialogue of cultures and civilizations.
Modern Astana is an embodiment of Nursultan Nazarbayev's idea: Eurasian spirit center of the powerful energy and generation upgrade, the pulses of which diverge away from the country.
This is historical accomplishment of the President for the future of the country and its people!
