Astana International Airport establishes new passenger terminal

According to the project the new passenger terminal will be located on an area of about 40 thousand square meters. It is also planned to establish power facilities, communications and external networks, upgrade the airport's lighting equipment, and make the overhaul of the runway and ramp. At the present time Astana International Airport can take up to 750 people per hour. Over the first nine months of the current year, the airport's passenger traffic accounted to 2.2 million.
