Astana hosted meeting on results of “Support for mother and child health in Kazakhstan” project

The project is realized by the Kazakh Ministry of Healthcare jointly with the European Union, World Health Organization.

"The project became an important part of the EU-Kazakhstan program in the field of healthcare," Norbert Jousten, the Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan, said.

According to Vice Minister of Healthcare Erik Baizhunussov, protection of maternity and childhood, increase in fertility and decrease in maternal and child mortality are important directions of the state policy.
