Astana holds ?Modern Kazakhstan and 'Path to Europe? conference

The participants will discuss a wide array of topics, such as integration and peacemaking initiatives of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Path to Europe, Kazakhstan's political transformation experience, Kazakhstani model of interethnic and interreligious consent. A photo exhibition about independent Kazakhstan is organized in the Majilis within the conference. Representatives of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Council of Europe, CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, deputies and leaders of political factions of different countries are taking part in the forum. The Kazakh side is represented by Speakers of the two Houses of the Parliament U. Mukhamedzhanov and K. Tokayev, Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev, representatives of central state bodies, diplomatic corps and public organizations.
