Astana covered with smog as forest fires rip through Russia

ASTANA. July 6. KAZINFORM Astana is covered with smog as forest fires continue to rip through Russia. It should be noted that forest fires have been blazing across Siberia for several days, Channel 1 Eurasia reports.
Bibigul Yesmaganbetova, Head of Astana Emergencies Department, confirms smog that is recently observed in the capital of Kazakhstan is due to forest fires in Russia.
Smog has been registered in the city of Kokshetau, Akmola and Pavlodar regions due to the same reason.
