Astana boasts population growth

The natural population growth for January-February 2014 made 3,182 people, migration gain made 4,369 people. 3,737 infants were born over this January-February in Astana that is 7,2% more against the same period of the last year. Thereat, the natural population growth made 10,9% to make 3,182 people. 555 died in the city over the said period that is 10% less as compared to the analogous period of 2013. The leading cause of the mortality among the capital residents is circulatory diseases up to 37 %, then come cancer deaths amounting to 21,4%, followed by accidents, poisoning and traumas totaling 11,7%.
