Astana boasts highest salaries in CIS after Moscow

ASTANA. August 9. KAZINFORM Astana was named the second CIS capital with the highest salaries, Vechernyaya Astana newspaper reads.
It is estimated that Astana boasts the highest salaries paid to its residents after Moscow that takes the number one spot.
In 2011 Moscowites earned USD 1 354, residents of Astana - USD 827 and residents of Baku - USD 596 on average.
The average salary in Bishkek amounted to USD 285, Dushanbe - USD 150 and Tashkent - USD 120.
