Astana birth rate keeps rising in 2014

ASTANA. January 6. KAINFORM 146 babies came into this world during the first three days of the 2014 New Year in the Kazakh capital - Astana, Kazinform has learnt from astana.kz.
The city's health administration confirms 146 newborns, including 72 boys and 74 girls were born in Astana on January 1-3, 2014. It is worth mentioning the birth rate in Astana is growing steadily (1.1% on average) each year, and as of December 2013 the birth rate totaled 27.67 per mille. NOTE: 16 444 bundles of joy were welcomed to the world in Astana in 2010, 19 777 births were registered in 2011, 21 266 - in 2012 and 20 699 - over 11 months of 2013.
