Astana-Bangkok flight launched
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The capital of Thailand played a host to a ceremony to mark the inaugural launch of the Astana-Bangkok regular direct flight starting from December 15. The event was organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Thailand and Kazakhstan's Air Astana air carrier, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
Heads of the Tourism and Sport Ministry, agency tourism, above 50 tourists companies of Thailand took part in it. Kazakh Ambassador Marat Yessenbayev addressing those gathered briefed on the country's achievements and prospects for future development and the main provisions of the President's Nurly Zholy Address. He drew attention to new investment and tourist opportunities for Thailand in the light of preparations for EXPO 2017 and realization of the Advanced Industrial and Innovation Development Program.
