Astana as chosen city for holding OSCE Summit emphasizes increasing role of Central Asia for Organization - Micheline Calmy-Rey

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Member of the Federal Council, Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey thinks that Astana as the chosen city for holding the OSCE Summit emphasizes increasing role of the Central Asia for the Organization.
She also expressed her confidence that Kazakhstan would continue to play an important role in the OSCE.
Micheline Calmy-Rey also noted that the Summit was held in the right time. It is the moment when many states need it more than ever, when there is a need in multilateral discussions and decisions.
