Asian Games 2014: Kazakhstan ranked 4th by medal count
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan team ranked fourth place in medal table of the Asian Games 2014, held in South Korean Incheon, vesti.kz reports.
On the sixth day of the games, the Kazakh athletes won four medals including three bronze ones: 50m rifle prone men - Ratmir Mindiyarov, Yuri Jurkov and Igor Pirekeev; 10 m command quick-fire pistol shooting - Bakhtiyar Ibrayev, Andrei Gurov and Rasim Mologly; as well as Bakhtiar Ibrayev in 10 m quick-fire pistol shooting. Silver medal was won by the Kazakh weightlifter Almas Uteshov. Thus, Kazakhstan national team has 30 medals: 6 gold, 8 silver and 16 bronze ones. China finished the sixth day of the Asiad atop the medal count. Chinese national team won 78 gold, 42 silver and 34 bronze medals. Japan remains the second (28-35-31), and South Korea is the third (28-33-31).
