The program provides targeted leadership capacity development focused on both knowledge, skills and personal development. Eminent women leaders from Asia will join as resource speakers to share their experience and insights on September 1 - 4. The program is co-hosted with the Korean Women's Development Institute (KWDI), ADB's press service said. The Asia Women Leaders Program will emphasize the connections between women's leadership, gender gaps and inclusive growth in the Asia and Pacific region; provide opportunities for self-reflection and peer exchanges on personal journeys in government, private sector and civil society; and improve skills for leadership, communication, negotiation and coalition-building to influence decision-making. The Asia Women Leaders Program will target 25 senior women government officials, mostly from ministries of finance or planning from 16 countries in the Asia and Pacific region.
