Ashkhabad hosts Kazakhstan Day of Culture in Turkmenistan

Cultural figures, representatives of public, diplomatic corps and mass media attended the opening ceremony in the concert hall of the Mukam Palace of the National Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Minister of Culture and Television and Radio Broadcasting of Turkmenistan Gilmurat Muradov and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed opened the ceremony. A wide-range program covered concerts of the Kazakhstan masters of art, photo-exhibition Kazakhstan is the Heart of Eurasia, demonstration of Kazakhstan cinema and master-class of the Kazakhstan actors. The high-ranked status of the cultural events was proved by address of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov to the participants of the Day of Culture: ?This international event which should become a peculiar contribution to the development of culture and art of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan nations is a testimony of the fact that many-sided cooperation and cultural ties between two countries come to a higher level?. According to the local mass media the song of outstanding Turkmenistan composer Nury Khalmamedov Khairana Ghalar performed in Turmen language by honored worker of culture of Kazakhstan Zhanat Shabykbayev was a real surprise. Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan M. Kul-Mukhammed held meetings with Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Maisa Jazmukhammedova and Minister of Culture and Television and Radio Broadcasting of Turkmenistan G. Muradov during which the prospects of further cooperation between two countries in cultural-humanitarian sphere were discussed within the Day of Culture of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan.
