As OIC chair, Kazakhstan achieved progress in peace, coop and development, Idrissov

ASTANA. November 15. KAZINFORM "As the OIC chair, Kazakhstan has achieved progress in peace, cooperation and development," Kazakh FM Yerlan Idrissov told addressing the 39th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the OIC member states held in Djibouti.

"During the presidency Kazakhstan held 38 Islamic and international events that significantly added to the OIC agenda and practice. A potent impetus was given to the OIC activity at the ministerial level. We held 10 ministerial meetings at large," he noted.

The past year and a half were one of the dramatic periods in the modern history of Ummah. We established three principles of chairmanship, namely, "Peace, cooperation and development" and Kazakhstan has made headway in all these spheres."
