We have built a new economy, from the totalitarian one we moved into a new liberal system. It has been said today in Almaty during the solemn celebration of Nowruz by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

"Our children are getting educated in different countries, people of Kazakhstan spend holiday at the best resorts in the world. Over the past 15 years after the South-East crisis the country's economy has grown by 16 times; we have been on a par with some of the South-Eastern "tigers", as well as the countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe ", said Nursultan Nazarbayev. He stressed that Kazakhstan has managed to achieve all of this thanks to the unity, peace and great diligence of the people.

"Look around, look out of the window. Have you seen that before what you see now? Over the years there has been created a good education system, free secondary education, free health care, and life expectancy rose from 64 to 70 years. We have built 700 health facilities, 900 schools and have formed the best system of higher education that our children will receive the best education. These are the achievements of first years, but we are looking forward ", said the President of Kazakhstan.
