Art & Literature State Prize contenders named

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today Astana has held the final meeting of the Commission for awarding Art and Literature State Prize in 2014 under the chairmanship of the Acting Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Head of the Presidential Administration Nurlan Nigmatulin.
The Commission's members, prominent representatives of literature and art of the country, noted the high level of works submitted for consideration. Total there have been accepted 29 works, 11 of which were confirmed to move to the second round. By tradition, awarding of the State Prize winners will be held on the eve of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan.
