Arrest of corrupt AREM official extended

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A court in Astana has extended the arrest of Murat Ospanov, head of Natural Monopolies Regulation Agency of Kazakhstan (AREM) suspected of a multimillion bribe until September 1, 2014, the court's press service reports.
Murat Ospanov was charged over accepting a multi-million bribe. The court in Astana sanctioned Ospanov's arrest in early July.
