Around 5,000 new jobs to be created under 'Productivity 2020' Program
ASTANA. December 18. KAZINFORM - Around 5,000 new jobs will be created at the enterprises that use the tools of the program "Productivity 2020", Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute" Seitgali Galiyev said in an interview for Primeminister.kz.
"All projects are to increase productivity 1.7-6 times, create about 5,000 new jobs," he added. In addition, it is planned to reduce energy consumption at enterprises on average by 10 %.
The total amount of funds spent on the implementation of the program is 253.9 million tenge. The program included 64 projects.
"Productivity 2020" has been implemented since 2011 as part of the President's Address "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan." It is aimed at modernizing existing businesses and creating new industries.
