Around 3,700 trees planted in Astana on eve of May 1

ASTANA. April 30. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ On the eve of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan the businessmen of the capital planted around 3,700 trees in the parks of the city of Astana. Deputy Mayor of Astana Vasily Krylov has told journalists today during the event 'Plant a tree for the capital'.
'This event is held within the environmental month. It was supported by the entrepreneurships and organizations of the city. In other words, it is the event of the businessmen of our city. 3,700 trees will be planted,' V Krylov said.
He also informed about the plans on the reconstruction of the park of the capital this year. Besides, there are two more parks that are now being built in Astana. Their areas are 100 and 180 ha.
