Armed robber gets away with $4mln in south Moscow

MOSCOW. June 1. KAZINFORM. An armed robber has managed to get away with $4 million after attacking a car in south Moscow, a police source said on Sunday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The robbery occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Moscow time (11:30 a.m. GMT) on Sunday after an unidentified person attacked a car carrying the cash. The assailant forced the driver out of the car by threatening him with a pistol and drove away.
Police have launched an emergency plan to apprehend the robber. The car was not a cash collection vehicle, the police source said; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version.
