Armed attack on oil field camp in Atyrau
ASTANA. June 24. KAZINFORM -In Atyrau region, an armed attack on the oil field camp has been registered. As announced by the spokesperson of the Internal Affairs Department of the region Gulnazira Mukhtarova, the attack took place at night on June 23 at the field camp of one of the oil companies, located in Kzylkoginskiy area, near the village of Mukur. A group of people who had arrived by car, threatening a gun, beat the guard, the master and one of the workers. They took away their cell phones and other valuables and fled.
"For the search of the criminals the personnel of the Criminal Police Department of Internal Affairs and Kzylkoginskiy police department have been involved. Identity of the attackers has been found out. They were seven inhabitants of Zhanterek village, which is in the same Kzylkoginskiy area of Atyrau region. Attackers are aged 22-26 years old. Hunting rifle and the automoblie they came in to the camp were taken away. All detainees were put in jail. Criminal case opening is under consideration, "- said Mukhtarova.
