ArcelorMittal Temirtau updating foresees USD 1 bln of investments, Issekeshev

ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "The Kazakh Government and ArcelorMittal Temirtau have prepared a modernization package plan aimed at stepping up of steel making up to 6 mln tons per year," Vice Premier - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Issekeshev made it public at the 24th plenary meeting of the Foreign Investors' Council chaired by the President.
The total volume of investments will hit about USD 1 bln. Realization of this project will let increase working efficiency, environmental and other aspects of the production.
