Annually, KZT 200 mln allocated on development of agriculture in Kazakhstan
MATY REGION. July 27. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Kazakhstan has allocated significant funds on development of agriculture since 2002. Annually, around KZT 200 million is allocated on this purpose.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said it at the meeting of farmers that he took part in. The meeting of farmers of Enbekshikazakh and Talgar districts was held in Almaty region.
The President noted that thanks to the rise of the economy of the country Kazakhstan had an opportunity to pay more and more attention to development of agricultural sector.
The Head of State also emphasized that GDP per capita had increased 12 times since 1994 in Kazakhstan.
'We can be proud of our achievements in social sphere. Over the course of recent years 700 schools have been built in Kazakhstan and 40 of them in Almaty region. Now we need to raise life expectancy in Kazakhstan from 68 to 72 years. On this purpose we build new hospitals equipped with modern equipment,' the President said.
N. Nazarbayev also surveyed one of such hospitals in Issyk town.
Besides, according to the Head of State, the most important task now is the realization of the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development State Program. Kazakhstan must have its own modern enterprises. We have a task of a twofold increase of our economy by 2014 and we intend to increase it by three times till 2020. In this case we will be able to subsidize agricultural sector,' the President said.
The President noted that at these times a man should be professional at what he does and no matter what it is.
At the end, the President added that all the achievements of Kazakhstan became possible thanks to the unity of the people of our country.
