Ankara held consultations between Kazakh and Turkish MFAs on interaction within CICA

ISTANBUL. January 13. KAZINFORM /Irina Dynnikova/ The Kazakh-Turkish political consultations on interaction of the two countries within the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) have been held in Ankara.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu received Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Kairat Sarybai, Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev and Ambassador-at-Large  Dulat Bakishev on January 11.

At the meeting K.Sarybai handed over a message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Turkish President Abdullah Gül, which confirms a high level of the relations between the two countries. A jubilee medal on occasion of the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan was presented to Ahmet Davutoğlu for contribution to development and strengthening of bilateral ties.

A wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation of the two fraternal states was discussed at the talks.

K.Sarybai noted that during the chairmanship in the CICA Turkey contributed a lot to its development and assured that the Kazakh side will render necessary assistance to Turkey in all directions of the CICA.

The meeting participants confirmed readiness to expend efforts for organization of top visits for further deepening of bilateral cooperation and interaction in international and regional issues.
