Analogues of imported goods are made in E Kazakhstan - region akim Berdybek Saparbayev
KAMENOGORSK. September 29. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko / East Kazakhstan delegation headed by Akim Berdybek Saparbayev took part in a forum of domestic producers regarding raising the Kazakhstani content in Karaganda today, the press service of the region's Akimat informs.
mong the members of the delegation are representatives of engineering sector, light industry, wood industry and manufacturers of building materials. At a plenary session B. Saparbayev made a report on the region's development since the year beginning. According to him, the ventures of the oblast produced goods amounting to KZT 272.4 bln (current prices).
He noted that the region's administration had developed a "balance of production and supply" of manufactured goods. It turned out that the import completely coincides with the products manufactured in the region.
Mr. Saparbayev also noticed that last year import of analogous products manufactured in Kazakhstan amounted to KZT 597.3 bln including KZT 37.1 bln delivered to Karaganda region. Among the imported goods are electrical products, cars, buses, mineral products, abrasive materials and asbestos-cement products. The major part of the imported goods falls on mining and metallurgical equipment (over KZT 10 bln).
However, paradoxically, similar products are manufactured at domestic enterprises located in the east. These are "AsiaAvto», «Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan», «Ust Kamenogorsk Condenser Plant, KEMONT", "KAZELECTROMONTAZH", "Vostok Universal", "Vostokmashzavod", "Kazzincmash" and others which are not loaded to full capacity.
Moreover, the products of these companies are certified and meet all international standards.
