AN-2 plane crash under investigation – Interior Ministry

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - AN-2 aircraft crash that occurred near the village of Temir, Shu District, Zhambyl region, is currently under investigation by the Ministry of Interior of Kazakhstan.
The pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the basis of a criminal offense under Art. 344 Part 3 (violation of safety rules or operation of air transport) of the Criminal Code in relation to the AN-2 crash near the village of Temir, Zhambyl region. The accident took place on January 20. Six people have been killed in the aircraft accident. According to reports, one of 7 people onboard - a woman - had survived the crash and was rushed to a hospital.
