Ambassador of Lithuania: Kazakhstan is Lithuania’s main partner in Central Asia

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Today memorandum on the development of bilateral business partnership has been signed by Director of chamber of entrepreneurs Rayhangul Satabayeva and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in Kazakhstan Rokas Bernotas, according to spokeswoman of Pavlodar region chamber of entrepreneurs Dina Shakenova.

The agreement aims to explore the potential and the development of international and inter-regional trade and economic, social, scientific, technological and cultural cooperation between the two countries. In particular, it will be provided mutual support in the implementation of investment projects in industry, energy, agriculture and trade. Lithuanian diplomat noted that Kazakhstan is a key partner of the country in Central Asia. "Last year the trade turnover between the two states exceeded 500 million euros. We are ready to define mutual interests in the economy and to organize a round table for businessmen of Lithuania and the Pavlodar region. The embassy will contribute to this", said the Ambassador.
