Ambassador Ibrayev gave a lecture on Kazakhstan's development in Lakitelek, Hungary

ASTANA. February 16. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Ambassador to Hungary Rashid Ibrayev has read a lecture at the conference entitled "Kazakhstan in XXI century" in Lakitelek, Hungary; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy.

The diplomat briefed the audience on the main provisions of the Kazakh President's Address "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan" as of January 29, 2010, socio-political situation in the country and its foreign policy initiatives.

He paid special attention to the activities of Kazakhstan as OSCE Chair, its priority goals and tasks contained in the video-message of the President of Kazakhstan and speech of Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev at the sitting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on January 14.

The participants were also familiarized with the work of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, CICA, progress of realization of "Path to Europe" Program, participation of our country in the SCO, Customs Union, and other aspects of Kazakhstan's diplomacy.

The issues of socio-political, economic transformations in Kazakhstan, its international initiatives and antirecessionary measures, dynamics of development of Kazakh-Hungarian relations were touched upon at a final press conference with media.
