Ambassador Fairfax meets with new Edmund Muskie Program participants in Astana

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Fairfax encouraged the finalists to experience life outside of the classroom during their scholarship, to meet other people who they can learn from.  This year's Muskie participants will study at the graduate level in degree and non-degree programs in Business, Public Policy and Administration, Education and Library and Information Science, the press service of the US Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan said.  

In order to be fully prepared for an educational journey to the US and to assist them in making sure their experience in a foreign country is safe, healthy and fruitful, U.S. Embassy and IREX organized a full day workshop.
