Almaty to launch its subway by 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan

ALMATY. April 22. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Under the plan the Almaty underground is expected to start running by the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence, deputy Almaty mayor Serik Seidumanov told.
It is also planned to put into operation the renovated Palace of Republic, several new kindergartens, and a production and logistics centre.
