Almaty to hold information day of NATO Science for Peace and Security Program

ALMATY. June 20. KAZINFORM. /Dauren Zhailin/ Information day of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Program with participation of about 30 foreign scientists from the USA, Europe and CIS will take place on June 24 in Almaty. The event is a part of the EAPC Security Forum planned for June 24-25 in Astana.

Among the guests are expected Mr. Jean-Francois Bureau, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Dr. Chris De Wispelaere, Scientific Program Director, representatives of the Kazakh foreign affairs and other ministries, heads of NATO scientific projects from Central Asian countries. They will tell about the results of scientific research held within the Program. Representatives of Central Asian states will also discuss problems of the region that can be solved through the NATO Science for Peace and Security Program at a special roundtable as well.
