Almaty to hold conference on results of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in OSCE
ALMATY. December 3. KAZINFORM International conference on the results of the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE will be held in Almaty on December 10.
It is planned to consider the results of the chairmanship and discuss the most important issues regarding international security and regional cooperation. The conference will be divided into two sections: on the issues of security and international cooperation; on economic interaction and humanitarian development.
As political scientists consider, during its OSCE chairmanship Kazakhstan confirmed its commitment to the fundamental principles and values, reached tangible results on consistent promotion of positive trends in the OSCE responsibility area in all priority directions - military-political, economic and environmental and humanitarian. Thanks to the Kazakhstan's efforts there was reached a consensus on holding the Summit in Astana, which defined strategic directions of the organization's development. The Astana Summit demonstrates Kazakhstan's contribution to strengthening international security and provision of global dialog.
Representatives of the state bodies of Kazakhstan, OSCE Center in Astana, experts of the scientific institutes and independent analytical centers of Kazakhstan, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Kazakhstan will attend the forum.
Organizers are the Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Research under the President of Kazakhstan, the OSCE Center in Astana and the Al Farabi Kazakh National University.
