Almaty region gained KZT 371 bln in investment last year

TALDYKORGAN. February 10. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Last year Almaty region gained KZT 371 billion in investment (114% of the target), first deputy akim (governor) of the region Amandyk Batalov said.
The biggest part of investment was utilized in manufacturing sector.
In 2011 the region put into operation 702 thousand square meters of housing. Under the program of housing and utilities infrastructure modernization, 27 multi-storey apartment buildings worth KZT 323 million underwent a major overhaul.
