Almaty region athletes hauled 409 gold medals in 2013

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - Athletes of the Almaty region clinched 409 gold, 351 silver and 404 bronze medals at republican, international, Olympic and other sports events last year.
The regional physical culture and sports department announced at a session dedicated to the 2013 results. A special sports school was opened in Talgar district of the province. 28 school sports grounds were reconstructed. 116 athletes obtained a title of master of sports.
