Almaty Mayor took floor at closing ceremony of Asian Games

ALMATY. February 6. KAZINFORM. Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov addressed those gathered for the closing ceremony of the 7th Asian Winter Games in Almaty.
Delivering a speech the Mayor of the city thanked the organizers and sponsors of the Games and offered special gratitude to hundreds of volunteers who with care and attention assisted all the guests and participants of the Games. Akhmetzhan Yessimov also emphasized the role of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev who despite the global economic crisis made the decision to hold such a big sporting event - the Asian Games.
