Almaty Mayor congratulates residents on Constitution Day
MATY. August 29. KAZINFORM 16 years ago Kazakhstan adopted its fundamental law - the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Almaty Akim Akhmetzhan Yessimov says expressing his congratulations to Almaty residents.
"During the years of independence, the Constitution of Kazakhstan has repeatedly proved its effectiveness, democratic nature and the focus on protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. The enormous potential of the constitutional norms formed the basis of today's achievements and success of the whole society. All this became possible thanks to the wise policy of our President Nursultan Nazarbayev," Yessimov notes.
He stresses that the Constitution Day of 2011 is marked in the year of the 20th anniversary of independence of the country. As is known, the country's sovereignty has been declared in Almaty. "So let this day remain in the hearts of all Kazakhstanis as a symbol of prosperity of statehood," the mayor emphasizes.
