All Kazakhstan's nationalities stand together to build a better tomorrow - head of Pontifical Council

KAZINFORM Today, no one questions the future and the present of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana, Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue said at a meeting with Speaker of the Senate - head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Kairat Mami.

"I am happy that the congress is held regularly. This initiative of the President of Kazakhstan is alive and growing, and no one now questions the existence and future of the Congress,"- said in a conversation Cardinal.

He also noted the high importance and uniqueness of the existing understanding between different confessions in Kazakhstan.

"Daily interreligious dialogue does not take place within the walls of the Vatican, it is in residential areas, on the streets. It is very important that it in Kazakhstan in everyday life people, regardless of their religion, have human and fraternal relations based on the desire to build a better tomorrow together. This is the most important thing," the head of the Pontifical Council noted.
