Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Kazakhstan begins

MINSK. May 29. KAZINFORM Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has begun his two-day visit to Kazakhstan. The plane with the Belarusian head of state onboard has touched down in Astana International Airport, Kazinform has learnt from BelTA.

While in Astana, the Belarusian head of state is set to take part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The council is expected to discuss integration development prospects.

The participants of the meeting will also consider a draft agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union.

It is expected that the parties will discuss events related to the development of an integrated information system of the Customs Union foreign and mutual trade, the coordinated agro-industrial policy, the main macroeconomic guidelines for the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space for 2013-2014.
