Alem Barysy participants arrive in Pavlodar
PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Best wrestlers from 35 countries including Australia, North and South America, Asia and Europe have arrived in the city of Pavlodar to partake in the I Kazak Kuresi International Tournament "Alem Barysy".
Press conference was organized to inform journalists on the event. Marat Zhakitov, Marat Shamshinurov, as well as a well-known American actor Japanese Cary-Hiroyuki Takagawa spoke about the participants of the tournament. The youngest participant of the tournament is an 18-year-old Oschuan Bezuidenhout, Australia. Among the distinguished fighters was the Olympic bronze medalist in Beijing Cuban Vidal Bryson, world champion in kurash Gregory Rudelson from Israel, bronze medalist of Asian Games in kazak kuresi Kutaiba Mohan Hussein al-Deby from Iraq. The opening ceremony will be held on October 25 at "Astana" Ice Palace. The champ will claim USD 100 thousand prize. Total prize fund is USD 150 thousand.
